Golfing on the Shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay

Regatta Bay Golf Club is found along the Choctawhatchee Bay and is a course you'll never forget. This first-rate golf course provides plenty of wetlands with perfectly placed bunkers, natural water hazards and one of the best Florida golfing experiences in the area.

Regatta provides two signature holes with a great design from Robert Walker. He comes from the Palmer Course Design team and provides an excellent eye for the golf course. The par four 7th hole provides huge guardian bunkers and the par five 18th gives you a snaking fairway with a lake running down the entire hole. This is very similar to the design of the TPC Players Stadium Course, Sawgrass.

Going a bit beyond the signature holes, you'll find beautiful wetlands, plenty of underbrush, lush fairways and more. This course is more than just some of the best views in the area, it's also a challenging course nearly 6,900 yards long. Nine of the holes feature wetlands and water hazards come into play on many other holes. Freeform bunkers provide a great look and challenge for all golfers.

If you can't drive the ball accurate, you might find this course to be quite challenging. Of course, you can play conservatively and get around the course just fine. This isn't the cheapest course in the area, but it does provide plenty of value for the price.

Green fees before noon are $124, after noon it's $89 and after 3pm, it's $59. This rate includes your cart, green fees and practice balls. You can reserve tee times three months in advance.

Regatta Bay Golf Club also offers memberships for individuals and corporations. Membership provides access to the golf course, tennis courts, a members-only clubhouse and more. Members even get to attend special events.
