Whether you're searching for a second home, a place to retire or you just prefer to live in paradise, it's time to look closer at the Highway 30A area. This picture-perfect area of Florida is one of the best places for beaches, rare coastal dune lakes and more. If you've been searching for an undiscovered and under commercialized area of the state, this is the place for you.

Most of the time, when popularity of beautiful beaches and natural surroundings rises, so do the condo buildings. This doesn't make it very appealing to move to one of these areas, but the Scenic Highway 30A is very different.

This area is home to 12,000 full-time residents and the same three million visitors every year. It has been discovered, but the community is protected from the massive commercialization so many people love to avoid.

The beaches have been named to many lists of top beaches and the communities found here are known as some of the best in the state. If you're worried about the Emerald Coast area losing its charm, you don't have to worry. The residents work very hard to protect this area and keep it charming.

So many areas throughout this part of Florida don't feature the neon lights, go-kart tracks, roller-coasters, water slides and other commercial attractions. However, these are found just up the road in Destin. Communities along 30A, however, provide plenty of natural paradise, which is exactly why so many people choose South Walton, Alys Beach, Grayton Beach and the many other communities here for their second home, retirement home or their full-time slice of paradise.

If you love golf, fishing, nature and everything that comes along with the beaches of Florida, the 30A area is perfect for you. Discover this paradise on a summer vacation and come back every year to your new second home.
