Seaside viewAs you're driving along 30A and passing Seaside, yet another beach community, instantly you'll realize that there is something unique about this area. Maybe it's the old-school water tower, the clad homes with elaborate porches, fencing and trim. Maybe it's slightly familiar... this was the filming location for the "The Truman Show," a 1998 Jim Carrey movie. In any event, it's well worth the stop to turn in and check out this funky little community.

Grayton BeachWhen you first arrive at Grayton Beach, you may notice the sign, which sums up the entire area. This sign says, "Nice Dogs, Friendly Folks" and that's the truth. This beach community is very casual and provides plenty of friendly fun.

The area is full of beach bungalows and is well-known for the iconic Red Bar. The live oak lined streets provide a small town feel with the beach close by. Anglers, beach lovers and boaters all find this area very appealing.

Grayton Beach was founded in 1885, but didn't begin development until about 1920. This neighborhood is found between Grayton Beach State Park and the Gulf of Mexico. It contains over 230 homes, a dozen commercial properties, a condo building, three multi-home sites and two mobile home area. You

Blue Mountain Beach - Photo Credit: Mountain Beach won't provide any tall mountain peaks or snow-capped hills. This area of the Gulf Coast gets its' name because of the blue lupine flowers and the very tall dunes. The area is very laid back and provides all types of beauty from the dunes to the beaches. Most of the homes in the area are from the 1960s and include everything from beach cottages to luxury homes.

Outdoor activities are found throughout with plenty of close by golf courses, the Timpoochee Trail nearby and the very rare dunes lakes throughout the area. Many residents enjoy water activities and a number of other outdoor recreation opportunities.

Laguna Beach - Photo Credit: in the Panama City Beach area, the area known as Laguna Beach is known as a quiet and uncrowned area. The beauty found here is known throughout the entire world. This isn't a heavily commercialized area and you won't find massive High Rise condominiums, Hotels or any other huge structures. Instead, you will a place to connect with nature, view a beautiful sunset or just enjoy the serenity of an escape from the world.

Shopping, dining and entertainment are found very close, with many choices on the east side of Panama City Beach, just a few miles away. This area is full of events, festivals and fun all throughout, but Laguna Beach is the quiet escape found within this pocket of business. Many people decide to live here because of how quiet it is
