A Complete Guide to Halloween on the Emerald Coast

halloween_emerald_coast_250With so much happening on the Emerald Coast during Halloween, it's important to find the right choices for your holiday season. Starting it all off with some scary fun and trick-or-treating is the best way to go. Here are the top events throughout the Emerald Coast for Halloween.

2013 Monster Paddle Poker Run - Saturday, October 26th at 9am

This is the biggest SUP Halloween Party in the Southeast and will provide plenty of fun for everybody. Many awesome prizes, a poker run and plenty of other events will be provided throughout the day.

17th Annual McGuire's of Destin Halloween Run - Saturday, October 26th at 9am

This 5k/10k Run/Walk will benefit the Saint Mary's Cross Country and Volleyball teams and will provide the opportunity to enjoy the Post-Race party with live entertainment, Irish Ale and Irish Faire. Awards will be given to the best runners, walkers and the best costume.

Comedy, Mystery and Murder with Act4Murder's at the Monster Bash - Sunday, October 27th at 5:30pm

The Act4Murder team will provide a great show and an excellent meal at the French Quarter Grill in Niceville for Halloween. This show will feature a Monster Bash theme and a costume party will help raise funds for HOWSA. The cost is $45 per person, which includes the 3-course meal and the show.

Gulfscarium's Splash or Treat Spooktacular - Saturday, October 26th, 27th and 31st

Come out to the Gulfarium on Fort Walton Beach and enjoy plenty of fun activities, including:

  • Trick-or-Treating in the park
  • Costume Parade
  • Costume Contest
  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Halloween Kids Crafts
  • Sea Lion and Dolphin Shows
  • Fun House for the children
  • And More!

Admission depends on the day and ranges from $5 to $19.95. The event will happen on October 26th and 27th from 9am to 3:30pm. On these days, kids in costume get in free with an adult paid admission. It will also happen on October 31st from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and kids get in with a costume and paid adult again.
