The restaurant just celebrated their first anniversary and they are located at 55 Clayton Lane in Grayton Beach.

Chanticleer Bakery & Eatery is owned and ran by a husband and wife team named Suzanne Wilson and Joseph Arnold. They teamed up with their daughter and her husband, Emily and Sandro Weaver to open this excellent shop full of great baked goods and more.

With many new businesses opening along 30A, it's no surprise that a large upscale project is in the works. The project is known as 30Avenue and it recently broke ground on a 16-acre spot near US 98 at Inlet Beach. This community has been in need of something new for quite some time and this project will help wake it up.

Ambition designer, A Boheme is responsible for the design of 30Avenue and the project will look much like some of the other designs from Boheme in Rosemary Beach. The project will feature retail on the ground floor, residential and office spaces on the second floor and plenty of great features. No tenants have been released yet, but they will be announced as the project moves forward.

This week will feature numerous Trunk Shows, VIP Parties, Featured Shows and so much more. If you love fashion, this week will bring all kinds of events for your liking.

The festival will happen along 30A and will include an awesome lineup of boutiques, local designers, runway shows and so much more. Preview parties will provide all types of fashion on display and the many festivities will give guests plenty to enjoy.

This event will showcase the winners of the awards given out by the Emerald Coast Magazine and will last from 6pm to 9:30pm. Come out and discover the best restaurants, service businesses, art galleries, musicians, doctors, photographers, lawyers, retailers and so much more.

This event will include plenty of fun, entertainment, fashion, food samplings, beer, wine, a silent auction and so much more. The winning restaurants will provide food samplings and drinks throughout the events, while the best musicians will take the stage.

30A Throwdown Cook-off at Pandora's

Pandora's Steakhouse in Grayton Beach will provide a place for the 30A Throwdown Cook-off on September 29th. This will be a Seafood Throwdown and will start at 2pm. Live Music from HOR!ZON, Khris Roya and Eric Vogel will be provided, along with plenty of fun. Tickets are $35, which includes all the music, dinner with shrimp, red snapper and more, door prizes and the opportunity to judge the cook-off.

As Ginger Jackson Sinton spend her summers growing up in the Gulf Coast area, she fell in love with the rare Coastal Dune Lakes found throughout the Emerald Coast. Ginger lived in Atlanta, but spent many summers at the coast and remained a part-time South Walton resident during her adult years, as well. As she raised two children, she worked as a graphic designer, but her passion has always been creating a book about the Rare Coastal Dune Lakes.

Her new book, "Rare Coastal Dune Lakes Biodiversity and a Sense of Home on 30A" is now available for purchase. fishing_250Fishing through Walton County is a natural way of life. Small charter boats go out daily with guests ready to fish for the first time in the ocean, while others head out daily with veterans getting their limit daily. Some don't even load into a boat, but choose to fish right off the beach at Grayton.

Captains often launch their boat right from the beach, which is considered, "Fishing the Walton Way." Everyday boats will return between 11am and 12pm, which is a spectacular scene. They will do it again between 4pm and 5pm, after their afternoon fishing charters.

Vet Opens Doors on 30A

A new vet office has opened on Country Road 30A called 30A Vet. This will be the home for Dr. Tonia Shatzel. She isn't new to the area, however. Shatzel has been practicing in the area for over a decade. She's responsible for publishing "Dogs of 30A" in 2010 with her partner Rob Wood.

The love Shatzel has for dogs led to the book and ultimately to the new Vet office on 30A. She will offer a full-service veterinary hospital with digital x-rays, cold laser therapy and non-anesthetic dentistry. Shatzel will customize the treatment plan specifically for your

This is one of the most popular women-only events found across the entire Emerald Coast area. It will be held at Elephant Walks and proceeds will benefit the Shelter House.
